Indications |
Tylosin is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, spirochetes,mycoplasma,any other bacterial infections caused by tylosin susceptible pathogens,e.g. Pneumonia,Pneumo-enteritis, Metritis, Leptospirosis,Calf diphtheria, Mastitis, Arthritis, Footrot. |
Dosage & Administration |
Intramuscular or Subcutaneous injection.
Tylosin tartrate 50mg per ml: Tylosin tartrate 100mg per ml: The amended dosage is 5- 13ml per kg bodyweight Calves, Ovine, Pig, Dog and Cat: each time dosage 0.025-0.065ml per kg body weight, twice a day, continuously for 5 days. Poultry: 0.025ml per kg body weight once a day, continuously for 5 days. For Calves: Do not inject at the same spot quality of solition greater than 10ml, if a biganimal require p.e. 30 ml. then 3 injections of 10ml at 3 different spots should be done. For Pigs, Dogs and Cats: Do not inject solution more than 5 ml at the same spot. Tylosin tartrate 200mg per ml:
Cattle,Sheep,Goat,Dog,Camel:5-10mg Tylosin per kg body weight (0.5ml per 10 to 20kg body weight), daily,for 3-5days. |
